Today, November 17th, is World Prematurity Day. A day dedicated to draw attention to and raise awareness of the dangers, causes and preventions of premature birth.

Most people can't understand the desire for a large family in this day and age.
This is my attempt, through stories, anecdotes, commentaries, links and pictures to show the world why we enjoy being a part of a large, unconventional and happy family, and how we manage to make it all work!

I am also a domestic violence survivor, and as such am constantly "working through" many things related to the fallout associated with such an experience. Many times "working through" to me means writing my feelings, sharing my story. Validating that I feel, act and love the way I do for a reason. You'll find some of that here, as well.
